Jay's leadership journey began at just 19 years old when he enlisted in the U.S. Army, serving as a machine gunner with the 10th Mountain Division and later as a Pathfinder assistant team lead for the 101st Airborne Division. His eight years of service, including two combat tours, instilled in him a discipline and problem-solving ability that seamlessly transitioned into the skilled trades.

After his military retirement, Jay found a new purpose in foundation repair and waterproofing services, quickly earning recognition for his expertise and work ethic. In 2023, he joined AFS, where he won the "Service Titan Award" for three consecutive months, proving his ability to tackle complex challenges and deliver outstanding results.
